Posted By: noelpolar, 12-13-2015, 09:34 PM

Some "1 day old Alpaca" shots.... invited to a friends who breeds Alpacas on Hindmarsh Island..... he's an ex Canon shooter who now has a Sony ARII and is buying the sony lenses bit by bit. Anyway.... couldn't make the birth yesterday so 1 day old it is....K3 shots.... mostly I like the flexibility of my Sigma 70-200/2.8 for this sought of thing..... but took a couple of fisheye shots.....seemed a square crop kind of day!

The expression on the alpacas face in that article is priceless.
Oh well, "we" eat the animals on our coat of arms, so why should alpacas escape.

Sounds like there could be a good export market to Scotland.

Run Alpacas run..... Don't listen to 'em..... Well, an acquaintance of mine raises the cutest fluffy bunnies that she sells to the Students in FFA (Future Farmers of America) they raise the rabbits, show them and sell them. Some end up for stud, some for meat, some are given back to the place where they purchased them. Those still end up as dinner. They are cute but still future dinner.

So damn cute. Really sharp and vibrant photos, too, a pleasure to view.

Believe me when I tell you that there's a farm with these beasts running around on it, not five miles from me.

Ah, so if walking around there we're spat at, a Glaswegian may not be responsible? That's reassuring!
