Andromeda

My first shoot on Andromeda. 43 seconds exposure with equatorial tracker.

thanks but I think yers will crop much better....I used an old sears 70-200/4 lens @ 200mm/f5.6, K-50, o-gps-1.....16 frames @ 40sec, 400 iso stacked deep sky stacker (DSS) with 4 dark frames & 1 bias frame and cropped.......still need experience in the field (maybe over a dozen times using the o-gps) and have minimal post skills but starting to scratch the surface on that though.......
I think you got good polar alignment and when ya get more familiar with the mount ya can extend the time and drop the iso quite a bit maybe 200......from what I understand from a thread on here you can get more out of post process with lower iso on astro shots.....gonna look for the link and paste it
you are off to a much better start than I......so keep it up!!! clear, dark skies!
