Horsehead and Andromeda
Lens: Orion 8 Camera: K5 IIs Photo Location: Wilmington NC ISO: 800 Shutter Speed: Above 6s Aperture: F4

Hello all. I am attaching my first two attempts at DSO with my Orion scope and K5 IIs.

Andromeda was 11x3mins at ISO 400 and 1 dark.
Horsehead was 10x5 mins at ISO 800 and 1 dark.
Scope is an Orion 8" newt on atlas eq-g with Orion star shoot autoguider.
Camera is a Pentax k5 iis
Prime focus with a coma corrector.

That's really cool. I don't do this kind of shooting (live in NYC-too much light pollution where I'm at) so I really like seeing what people produce through astro-photography. Thanks for sharing!

I have no experience with astrophotography of any kind by these are 2 pics I really like a lot!

What? First two attempts and you've got pictures like the Hubble??? You better hide from NASA if you do not want to work there!
