Snow in Algonquin
Posted By: normhead, 12-17-2015, 07:54 PM

It a strange winter....

On November 22 we had snow, it lasted 2 days and melted, we've had nothing since, none predicted until after Christmas, even then it's going to melt right away. last year we were in a deep freeze, this year almost tanning weather. I have to dig out old pictures just to show what we got. This it, all of it, there's no more.

I have no more winter scenes and the lawn is still partially green.

The woods are just muddy and totally lacking in colour.
I guess if i want that nice clean winter scenery, I'm going to have to move further north.

Shouldn't that be a "snow check".
Redeemable for a mountain of snow at any participating Canadian city.

nice shots, the last dog shot has a bit strange bokeh though.
Dogs are like squirrels.....so handsome they don't need no stinkin' bokeh! If you are lookin' at anything other than the handsome dog or squirrel, you are an unworthy viewer!

Nice shots Norm!

Regards!

I don't know Rupert, those Pine Martins over at Mew lake campground are pretty cute, even if they are squirrel eaters...

And Kerrowdown, look at how that wonderful snow adds so much to those pictures. It's like the forest changed the backgrounds. I own't even photograph these guys in the summer. In the summer, the background are just so bleh.
