Some macro shots - first post actually
Lens: Tamron 90 mm 2.5 Camera: Kr Photo Location: France ISO: 200

Hi !. Ivy is a late flowering plants , and it attracts many insects in search of pollen or nectar. Here are some pics, taken with a manual tamron 90 sp 2.5 and built-in flash used for fill-in. There's some over-exposition, I still don't master the flash balance on my newly acquired Kr. The uploaded pics are generally 25 % to 50 % crops of the original pics.

First, a hoverfly :

Then a wild bee, litterally stuffed with pollen :

A Red Admiral drinking it up !

And one of these nasty invasive Asian hornets , caught in flight from flower to flower. I had a good luck with this one !

More coming soon ! Hope you enjoy, and give me advices for a better daylight / internal flash balance. May the Pentaxian Force be with you.

Wonderful shots. Welcome to the forum. It is a wonder that bee could fly with all that pollen attached to its body.
