Haven't been out taking shots for a while, so I spent a couple hours at the Toyo Drift Series today. I aint no blwnhr and have never been to a drift race before... it was pretty fun

Plus we got some Cunning Stunts during lunch

Kristine ... nice work ... shame i missed out on this.
I was meant to be at Eastern Creek today for another thing ... noticed the Drift Finals were on for this weekend to what I drive passed the back of the track doing deliveries the other day and say the massive banner on top of the hill.

Any of the DigitalSLR group there today?????

I couldn't tell really, they were a long way away and all in the center of the track

I'll post some at DSLR when I've finished processing all of them and ask.

A choking atmosphere. I love the smell of burnt rubber! Very well captured, though I'm a bit worried about the Cunning Stuntmen - a helmet alone won't save your back from breaking.

Thanks guys... it's been a while

The smoke made for some tragic exposures. The 'freestyle' expression session wasn't even worth taking shots of for the smoke... made the AF go nutz

No.4 is my fav

That smoke will really mess everything up....I know it's left me with hours of editing to try and salvage some shots before

AAAAHHHHHHHH. Car shots - #2 is great all the thick smoke! My Mazdaspeed roadster came with Toyos, a brand I've never owned. I hope they hold up.

Great work catching the action at the corner. What is that thing sticking out the window above the roof in #4? I assume a camera of some sort. Again nice work.

I think it is some sort of camera, viev, but I don't knoe for sure. The event will be on tele next weekend so I might find out then

Might even see my head in the crowd

very nice shots! It's amazing how much more smoke your guys got compared to the shots I got this weekend at a formula drift event.... I hadn't seen drifting live before this weekend and it's pretty amazing the car control those drivers have. Fun stuff!
