An uphill battle.
Posted By: SLC Flyfishing, 06-29-2008, 02:29 PM

Taken at a youth camp for cancer patients. This girl completed the hike to the peak near the camp and I took this photograph with my K10 when she was just about to the top.

I think it's full of symbolism about what it is to fight cancer.

How did I do?

I think the girl in silhouette works well, kind of like the unsung hero, and the fact that it could be anyone’s personal battle, and should be everyone collective battle.

Nice shot, maybe you could print a copy for them to auction.

^^^ Top idea Gary as a auction raises awareness to the needy and the more that are aware the better

Thanks for the kind words everyone! I'm thinking of donating the photo to the local children's hospital where most of the kids from the camp are receiving treatment. But an auction might be in the works so that's a possibility too!

Is it just me or is there a red X there now. I would like to see the picture. If just me pay no attention to my response.

It's still there on the Mac's at the U of Utah computer lab. So it should be viewable from everywhere else since I posted it from my own computer. Pat, if you go the the forums at popphoto I posted it there also (it's untitled over there though).
