Duchess Out And About
Posted By: Kerrowdown, 12-25-2015, 03:42 PM

On a special effort to get her out more (“Duchess” (SMC Pentax-A* 300mm F4.0), as she's quite a competent Lady.

Absolutely a beautiful picture. Nice capture. That k20d with the 300 mm lens is an awesome combination. What a vessel, she's a wonderful looking yacht. She seems to be just the right size with appropriate rigging. Are you able to crew her yourself, or do you require another pair of hands? ISO 400 on an overcast day. Thanks for a gorgeous photo.

Merry Christmas,

Tony

The correct address for a Duchess is Your Grace... not HRH.

Aye I'm starting to carry her more now... getting ready for the advent of FF.

That's why Americans don't have royalty - we can never remember the proper form of address.

Your welcome to some English ones of ours. They're no use to us Scots.

"Giving away" doesn't necessarily mean that there's not a cost attached...

Ah, you are so right there, even if you get a $1, then that's a dollar you didn't have before. Top shot too.

Yes, you Scots tried giving them away a few hundred years back, and that indeed was a costly exercise.

There is one thing you can say about the Scots, "They never pass the buck." )

Just look at. "Nessie". She's been dodging bill collectors for decades.

She's been paying handsomely for years to live in the Loch, but just keeps eating the debt collectors.
