January is time for zoo photography...



































































In February I heard there were Redpolls at Beaver Lake, so I had to go get some pictures...





































In March the rivers were frozen over, so the ducks were concentrated in the few places there was open water.



























By the time April rolled around I had a new K-3...





























































May is the best time of year in CNY...

































In June I switched from Apple Aperture to Adobe Lightroom...

























Not much in July, and nothing in August...

Just one shoot in October. It wasn't a great year for fall colors...













The last time I had my camera out all year. One last trip to Montezuma NWR in November...

Many distinctive shots here, looks like a productive year for you. I`m partial to scenics and the last two of your fall color series I think are particularly good.

Shooting mostly at 500mm helps. FoV and DoF are pretty narrow The enclosures at the Rosamond Gifford Zoo help too. It's not an old fashioned Zoological Garden like the zoos in Rochester and Buffalo. Onondaga County actually spent the money 30 plus years ago to modernize it.
