One of our all time favorite parks and one which can be counted upon to deliver the wildlife. Hope you enjoy these.

A great series of shots from Susan as we'd expect. Although there seems to be a lot of feed around that Bison is showing it's ribs which made me curious.

Of course she does!

Well, as long as I stick to "yes, dear", anyway.

We got quite lucky with the prairie dogs. Lots of young around and there was lots of interaction between them and the adults.

Custer has the largest herd of bison in the US if I am not mistaken. They cull the herd in the fall (which is supposed to be quite a spectacle and one I would love to see and hear). This animal had a youngster in tow and of course, she was also shedding her winter coat. This may have contributed to her appearance or she could have medical problems. The herd as a whole was very healthy looking.

It never disappoints that's for sure.

And you two need to settle down this morning. It is much too early for leeking and frioaring. I have no idea how to put the doohickey over the "o",

Thanks Rob. Those were a herd of elk with their young. First time we had seen a herd that size anywhere so it was quite a sight.
