Fireworks

There seems to be a distinct lack of New Years Eve fireworks being posted....everyone still hungover?

To get the show started, here's some of our local event...PLEASE...feel free to add your own, Welcome to 2016.

The local display was fired from the a bridge, this is the only wide angle I took to show the setting, I much prefer to get into the 'heart' of the display.

We didn't have any except for those in the neighborhood. I decided to go to bed at 11:00 which is late for me but, hey, it was New Year's Eve. Did I miss anything?

I shot from 11 miles away. This is downtown Oakland in the foreground and San Francisco across the bay

What is the line about three parts of the way down in your second photograph?

Hi Mike SF...those are great! Great scene beautifully captured.
Gordon....I have no idea, it is some sort of artifact that occurred in the upload, its not on the original.
