A Whale of a time.
Lens: Takumar F 70~210mm Camera: PENTAX K100D SUPER Shutter Speed: 1/3000s Aperture: F9.5

An interesting shot of a whale spouting off on its way to Baja California. This species of whale is referred to as: California Grays." Their journey is a long and difficult one beginning from northern Alaska to their feeding areas near Baja California. I believe the gulls add a nice touch. Please enjoy and thanks for looking.

Thanks for entering! This doesn't look like a composite photo, so I'd like to ask that you either reply with a description of how it was shot/processed, or edit/replace your submission by February 3rd. Best of luck in the final round of the contest!

Hello Adam,

Thanks for writing. I am amazed as to how my photo landed on this section. I do not have any composite photos, so I probably goofed somehow and posted it here. My apologies for my error. Please feel free to remove the photo since it really does not belong in the contest. Thanks,

Tony

I'd be happy to move it to the photo sharing section, if you'd like!

Thanks Adam, however, I believe it is in that section already.

Regards,
