Setting Sun, Rising Moon
Lens: SMC Pentax-F 35-135mm Camera: K-50 ISO: 400 Shutter Speed: 1/4000s Aperture: F4.5

One of those spur-of-the-moment shots that's not what it appears to be. The "Setting Sun" was actually the sun reflecting on a "Stop Ahead" sign. The "Rising Moon" was actually the flare from the headlights of an approaching car.

Thank you, my friends. I'm quite honored at the kind words and the thumbs up. This was my first brief outing with this new-to-me lens. Our weather here in SW Idaho has been very bleak lately.... cold, damp and with no sun at all. We had about an hour or two of actual sunlight, so I grabbed my K-50, the "new" lens and I got to take a few shots on the tail end of it.

What are you talking about... the camera never lies.

It's this sort of thing that gets those nice folk over at Reuters all excited.

A cool image nevertheless.
