Macro Pencils
Lens: Zuiko 50mm f/1.8 Camera: Pentax K-50 ISO: 800 Shutter Speed: 1/125s Aperture: F16

I haven't played with macro for a while but gave it a go for the 52 week challenge.
It has been too hot here and could not find any bugs so opted for something colourful and simple.
I used my favourite lens for macro, an OM mount Zuiko 50mm f/1.8, extension tubes and wireless off camera flash.

What a clever composition - and I do get the . . . . . point.

I also dig the rich colors in this very creative photo.

Hi Grippy. Very good photograph mate. It proves good macro doesn't have to be " bugs. " Well done.

Thanks, I used to play with macro a fair bit but haven't since I switched to Pentax, I'm glad I could find a way to use my Old Zuiko still

Nicely done! I could see a large print hanging in a family's study, home office, or in the lobby of a media company.

Wow, thank-you, I never thought of it like that. I did think while I was setting up my classroom for this year it would go well on the wall though

There is something about a freshly sharpened pencil
