Art appreciation is subjective. How many appreciate these 2 paintings?

Ummmmmm......... nah.

The only thing slightly interesting I can find about them is the facial proportions are humanesque.

First one might as well be an alien. Have not seen anything like it in our universe.

Is that a trick question? I see three paintings ...

But - speaking as one who has done a bit of sketching and painting from time to time - when I see such images I often wonder if the artist puts down their brush and says "Yep, that's what I wanted to convey." In other words, art is not just in the eye of the beholder but in the mind of the artist (let's not go there). Then again, the bottom one looks vaguely familiar. Maybe this is someone who is making more money from it than I ever could.

Maybe luftfluss' cat should have the last word. Where is it?
