Those are very rare, only 500 were made. Or was it 200? You were lucky to come across one, although it looks like that was some kind of autoshow?

Yes, there were only 500 made of this one.

This was taken at a meeting of Alfa Romeo owners (Alfa Romeo Club Vienna) who made a stop at the Göttweig Monastery.

A beautiful car, beautifully photographed.

I hope to see an example of a base model 8C in a couple of weeks at the Houston auto show; I'll probably take a test drive in one sometime in the future.
