I find that cardinals don't sit still for long and try to hide behind branches.
This one arrived in a different spot than I normally see them and would not cooperate for a good photography.

I'm not happy this isn't as sharp as I can get. I was on manual focus trying to pick it out between branches then it managed to sit in the open for a quick second.

Frustrating, but I'll get a better one.
