I started out with these guys, waiting for the Pine Martens to turn up. They stood us up....
On the way out I noticed the sky looked promising in terms of a sunset. It had all the right kind of clouds. I had the DA*60-250 with the 1.4 TC ready for the Pine Martins but both these were taken with the 40XS on the K-01.
Then I took a trip down Opeongo Road, to drop off some bird seed.
There were a few happy recipients. I had the F 70-210 on the K-5 on the front seat, so still no DA*60-250.
The sky looks even more promising...
Driving towards home, I had to pull off the side of the road for this one, at Brewer Lake. I picked up the K-01 and 40XS from the seat and dnapped a picture, then took it with the DA 18-135 at 18mm and the K-3, but preferred the K-01 and 40XS version.
Sun Pillars
The Brewer Lake ice is already forming on the rock face beside the highway. Finally I put the 18-135 on the K-3 for the last 2.
Out of the park on the way home, the sunset is slowly fading away.
