Convolute Clasp
Posted By: HowLowCanYaGo, 07-01-2008, 06:47 PM

This shot was taken outside of a museum after a thunderstorm. It might seem unbelievable, but not much post-processing occured here...Just a few filters and airbrushing/erasing.

Thoughts?

Thanks.

I'm not sure about certain aspects of the shot, so, I'm waiting on some more feedback.

Very dramatic. I like it artistically, if not viscerally! Rather foreboding.

were those the inspiration for the Segway? I like the feel of the pic... gritty, dark, surreal. not sure I like the angle though. on the one hand it gives the image a sense of motion, but on the other, I'm not sure it's necessary given the dynamic background and their poses. what kind of museum is this? museum of marvel

I find these sculptures rather unpleasant. They are too bombastic. It reminds me of the Soviet-era "epic worker" theme.

Can't help but be reminded of Johnny Hart's "B.C." comic strip.

These three could take a big hint.

That what pictures are suppose to do.. tell a story and this one does. Everytime I look at it I get a different thought. Well done! JIMBO

daacon- yes they are eerie, and that's exactly the emotion/feel I was going for. The storm came in at the perfect time!

Mike Cash- very cool!.

Jimbo- I was unsure of that posts purpose as well. I've learned though that photography is way to subjective.
