The Grand Canal

I was in Dublin on Saturday night and managed to get a couple of shots

Grand Canal

Thank you Debakarma, the star bursts are from the lens, not pp. Lens was pentax F 28mm.

I had never associated canals with Dublin. Thanks for sharing that. Enjoyed the series. Your light trails are really well done but the canal is fascinating.

Great set, but the "Whomping Willow" in the first really piques my interest...

The grand canal runs for about 140 kms and meets up with the river Shannon which runs for another 350 (ish) kms. So you could have quite an extensive trip in a barge or narrow boat.
