Ski Jumping World Cup 2016, Zakopane, Poland.

This is my second event with the DA* 60-250 lens and I am truly impressed. The lens turned out to be somewhat bigger than I was expecting but on the other hand it is not as heavy as I though. Clearly my new best companion. I cannot wait summer

I have many more shots though most are similar to each other. There were a lot of spectators and once everything started I could not move and was stucked at the very top tribune between all the fans.

This was the second time I was watching ski jumping and this time I wanted to be as close to those flying guys as possible. Drawback was that I could not see their landings so I had no idea who flew how far

But who cares about the results of the contest - the most important was I could keep on taking pictures

Both great shots but the second one with the structure in the background has "that something extra". I would suggest including the occasional shot that shows how high off the ground they are...for us that know little about the sport.

Bugger....had this image of women and men without wings flying at altitude. Damn, that article has really killed that off..

..not that I'm going to rush out and take it up.
