Awesome shots, nice clear sky. I was working so I missed it but for the extra pay it was... no, no it wasn't worth it.

Was overcast here, low clouds the fireworks went off nonetheless... nothing as spectacular as that though.

Great shots dbh, the first shot especially. I wondered if you or Daacon might get out to shoot them.

Nice work. The first one is an interesting pyro design I've not seen before (I've attended plenty of shows by different companies and International competitions) - is it one of those spiral????

Thanks everyone for the kind words.
I found that first one kinda freeky, too.
They must be expensive. It goes off fairly high, like a multiple warhead then the small MIRVs accelerate away sparking and changing direction as they go. Very cool to watch.
There weren't many of those, IIRC, but I did get another one Tues evening. Here is a green one with some more standard stuff lower down:

Nice to see these. Fireworks must be a tricky thing to shoot. Though I guess once you waste one show getting the exposure info the next show must go better.

great shots. I got some last night but the humid and cloudy air lead to alot of pretty colored smoke I enjoyed #2 the best.
