Well - somebody had to defend the integrity of our North American birdlife in the eye contact department, even thought I can't match Ken's painterly qualities. These are re-posted - most of our colourful small birds are in sunnier parts of the world right now.

This 2 birds are indeed colorful, nice catch jacamar.

Hi nabwong, these birds were shot at Chiang Mai, Northern Thailand.

It seems to me these photo's represent lots of hours of 'work' to get these kind of results. Really shows your dedication and skill.

Thanks, Chiang Mai is a good place for shooting birds as well as for hoildays.
