Dog walk with the fisheye.
Lens: DA 10-17 fisheye Camera: K-3 Photo Location: My back yard ISO: 400
Posted By: normhead, 02-06-2016, 01:43 PM

K-3, DA 10-17 fisheye (because ordinary is made fun by a fisheye.)
ƒ8 or ƒ5.6, 400 ISO, AV shutter control

Getting ready to go, the excitement is overwhelming for puppies.

Misty played with her stick for the whole walk. No need for a rope toy when you have a stick.

Don't even think you're going to get a piece of this.

The dog path.

Tripper goes on his own walk. I have to use the telephoto end of the fisheye to get him in the frame. Cranked all the way out to 17mm.

More of the dog path.

At the end of the walk, same excitement of as at the start.

I don't normally like fisheye photos but I like these

Are dog get's no other toys than sticks, and loves to wander of herself as well. Isn't it amazing how they are still so excited after long walks?

All of our dogs have places of interest they wander off on their own to explore every day, I had Misty's rope toy in my pocket. She sniffed it and wouldn't play with it, then went and dug a stick out of a snow bank. If she doesn't play with a toy, it's her preference, not mine. With the two border collies, I threw the ball for them the whole walk, until the end. The last 300 meters they have someplace they go, I have no idea where.

We try and avoid it, but they start getting excite as soon as i go to my room and start putting my socks on because 'it might be a walk" then they start milling around in the doorway, pushing and shoving. Everyone wants to be quick out the door. It's as if they think if they don't run out real fast, the walk might get cancelled.

We like to think they enjoy their lives. Lot's of exercise, lot of ball throwing, what else could a dog want?

They get those too, although Tia seems to be pretty much hogging them at the moment. Taking advantage of her quickly fading "puppy" status.

I caught Otis looking at this post.......I said "Otis, I thought you were boycotting old Norm because he picked at you?"

He replied...... "He's got doggie shots, I can't boycott doggie shots!".

Indeed, those are some fine doggie shots of some fine doggies! Otis is right once again!

Regards!
