Looks like maybe he was crying before the picture? Maybe nervous?

Nope, he was not crying! =)
We do go in the pool daily though! LOL

And to think, you were wondering about keeping this lens. I really should bite the bullet and pick up one before visiting with my grandson mid-July.

Carie, looks like that 50mm is working out great. Perfect shot.

I've had a hard time taking the 50 off my camera. So sharp.

I haven't posted for months now (although I occasionally slip back to see how folks are doing) but I simply had to compliment you on this amazing portrait. Taken with the 50mm lens? I've been talking about getting one for some time now. This may just be the stimulus to push me over the edge.

very sharp photo, however the exif is intersting

ISO 400 with a 1/60 shutter yet flash was used?

It was storming out, I used the speedlite. Was testing the new lens at different levels.

An absolute stunning portrait. People would pay big money to a studio for something like that. Very well done. I can see that one kept for many, many years to come.
