A really slick photo, EM. The surface detail is super - color is wonderful.

Very nice! I was out earlier attempting macro of Daffodils. Just beginning to bloom here. First color in our yard. Soon realized it's not easy to get the results I was hoping for. Achieving desired DOF with wind blowing, not too busy of a background, and finding a flower that didn't have some kind of insect damage proved difficult. Will post my favorite result soon.


Kudos to you for capturing some fantastic images. The play of light and exceptional detail of this rose bud is wonderful.
