Crossing the Snake
Lens: DA 18-135mm ED DC Camera: K-50 ISO: 400 Shutter Speed: 1/2500s Aperture: F8

Crossing the Snake River, near Murphy, Idaho. This is the area where the Utter Disaster took place. The single largest loss of life during the Oregon Trail era due to Indian depredation. The Oregon Trail follows the Snake River on the opposite side from where this shot was taken.
