A testament to the resolution of the K10. These were both shot with the FA 50 1.4 with the same light and same settings. One is with the K10, the other on the K20.

Too bad as a whole they both suck. Probably the photographer.

thanks for the posting the comparisons.

The top one I take it is the K10?

Do you think that it is a good comparison seeing that the top photo is a closer shot of the yarn... I take it you cropped the photos.

Is that shadow in the top left bottom photo?

thanks

Actually I left a small misnomer in the text, the first one is the K20, which is why it's larger. Both of these are 100% crops with no resizing. Yes, there was a fold in the subject that caused the shadow.

Did you hear about the cat who ate a whole ball of yarn?

She had mittens!

There's a "thread" of truth in this story.

I think there is some fringing, purple and other colors, at the edges in both pix. Nice thread, though.

Fuzzy? They're down right soft. Even softer now that the felting process has been done.

These are not the most interesting shots I have taken, I know. I wanted to see if my K20 needed repair after a series of not-so-sharp parade photos. What I learned was that the K10 is still a completely valid tool. This came as no surprise, of course. I have been trying to sell the K10, but the lack of buyers has not disappointed me too much since I would miss it terribly if it sold.

I think the K20D shot was slightly better than the K10D.
