Well, the day went from sunshine to white-out conditions and then back to sunshine a couple of times. Would have lasted longer too, had the Coopers Hawk not come by for a snack of Mourning Dove (while I was downloading the first batch of images to my portable hard drive, hence no pictures of the hawk
)

I should also mention that with these shots, I used the K10D, FA*400mm f/5.6 wide open with a tamron 1.4x teleconverter. All of this was mounted on my tripod....and all of this was covered in about 1/2 cm of snow at one point
