Very nice--well-chosen processing, especially. We have a pretty well-established rowing scene up here on the Tennessee River as well (both UT Women's and various clubs)--definitely a lot of photographic potential there.

Yeah this street called Azalea Drive is a route I can take to go to work, and there's a few places to rent rowing boats. Sometimes in the evenings you see groups of college kids and sometimes teenagers roaming around after their practices. I drove through pretty early, and only had a couple of minutes to park and take pictures, so just having someone go by felt like I was pretty lucky

Very nice. I really like the 30's-era look to it.

Thanks. Someone developed some a film emulation plugin for Corel Aftershot Pro (among a few freebie plugins there are available for it). I usually use that rather than just convert it to B&W as it does give that older vibe to the pictures.

It's pronounced like this: Chat - a - hoo- chee. If you say it fast, it just rolls off your tongue!

Thank you I was told it's a Cherokee name. We have a lot of Cherokee named places around here in Georgia...

What a great composition. The B&W treatment makes this photo feel like a view into the past. Really nice job.
