Tasmanian Train Trip
Posted By: bonovox, 07-07-2008, 03:38 AM

My wife and I spent a week and half (not nearly long enough!) travelling around Tasmania recently. These photos were taken while doing a day trip from Strahan to Queenstown on an old restored train.

Thanks for looking!

Your first shot is great. Wish there were people in the carriage. The engineer would've been better if you included the engine I recon.

I was using a prime for the shot of the engineer (105mm Viv S1), so I was limited to how far back I could walk! I definitely agree with your comments. thanks

I have a thing for all things mechanical, these are great. I like number 2, though I can certainly see an appeal to each of them.

Nice ... how was Tassie ... I have been really wanting to travel around there over a 1-2 week period (camera gear in tow as well).

That reminds me ... I need to get up to the Zig Zag while it is still misty/foggy around here.

Very good series and the trip must have been fun. I really like number 4 and number 1
