Forest Canopy

I take these types of photos for my wife. She just loves tree tops and forest canopies. What you see in this flick is purely by accident. This was taken in March of 2014 and the weather was just awful. I happened to look up at these tree tops and set up for a decent shot. No kidding, just prior to taking the photo, the sun broke free and decided to be rude and intrusive. I am not unhappy with the results. Sure, there is some ghosting, I didn't use any filters, just the front element exposed to the elements. Other than a little ghosting, I think the lens handled the shot very well. At least there is no flare even without a lens hood. Well, thanks for looking and enjoy.

Sometimes flare adds to the image- that's the case here IMO
