Hi all,

This is my first trial in shooting fireworks. I could not get a good spot and the tripod was not stable enough n the sand of the beach.

i like the last one the most.
the others appear a little too bright/overexposed/blown out.
What was your f-stop at? When I shoot I usually do F/16-19, with exposures of 4,6,8, and 10 seconds.

I do like the palm trees as a foreground, and the fireworks blasting out from behind. Again, I think the entire setup comes through the best in the last picture.

also, the first 3 or so show some wobble. What I would do is if you don't have a remote shutter, set the timer to the 2-second delay. Since I don't have a remote, that's what I do. You have to time your shots - but it's easy to get the hang of.

The delay will give you time to get your hands off the camera, and keep it from causing any wobble-blur.

Thanks Dan, the f stop was at F/11 at 95mm on the 50-200mm lens. The Expoure was at 4 secs for all the pics. The last one might be 3 secs.
