Rare sunshine.

I came across this stone path whilst hiking in the mountains and thought it looked like something out of Lord of the Rings. It was, in fact , north Wales on a rare day this year without rain.

Aye... it's always been a bit of a competition between our two nations, as to who can have the worst weather.

This day looks a fine one to be up in the hills.

Fantastic looking country. When younger we spent a couple of weeks in both Wales and Scotland and the worst weather award goes to Scotland (but it is mitigated by some mighty fine single malt.)

Haha. Yes, I am from Scotland and work in Wales so, weatherwise, I get the worst of both worlds.:-)

Both countries are winners in the "I think they speak English but I don't understand what they are saying" contest, because no one here in the USA has an accent
