birds birds birds and a squirrel

bird feeder buddies a blue jay,nut hatch and elmer the squirrel.

That could almost be my place. Even the feed under your White Breasted nut hatch looks the same as what I put out there for them.

Very nice.

the feeder under the nuthatch started out as a squirrel feeder i used to put the corn cobs on them..slowly the birds have begun to take it over.

Usually it is the other way around. Birds beat out the squirrels for the food.

Beautiful series!
I have lots of blue Jays here in my backyard but they never come in to the feeders that are closest to the house...guess they don't like getting their picture taken!

Thank you so much..you know the blue jays stay out in the woods around the neighborhood but at the end of winter they come into the feeder sure fire way to know spring is coming or vice versa in the fall before the first snows the feeders fill with blue jays.

Rupert, please tell Otis I am truly Honored for the award.. Tell Otis that i have many many shots of squirrels and their little counter parts chipmunks and will share some very soon.. honestly they are one of my favorite subjects to shoot.
