1st time posting pictures... with my 35-70mm

hi guys,

here are some shots from my k100D S + F 35-70mm

slight PP/crop/resize using photoshop

this is on a trip going to NJ, forgot the name of the tunnel



this is my nephew busy playing PS3



this is on the way home, I really like this!



here are a few shots from a nearby lake

I wanted to take photos of the birds in the feeder but I dont any telephoto lens yet









and a bird from the national zoo in DC, forgot what its called hahaha

the horizontal and vertical lines are probably from the fence

Try cropping the tunnel so that no interior of the car is shown

I have the F35-70 lens as well. Really nice old glass.
Your pictures are fine.
Auto white balance cannot handle house incandescent lights.
You might set the white balance manually to remove the orange glow.

Nice work, faust. Love the tunnel shot.

That bird looks a lot like a Cassowary... which is a flightless Aussie bird and very dangerous.

love the tunnel shot, you matched speed with the other cars, making them in focus while the rest is illuminated!! grats!

yea I was very happy when I see that the cars are still in focus

Good shooting there. I absolutely loved this lens. I had the "A" version and later the "F" version. They're really good walkaround lenses and are one of the great Pentax bargain lenses. The macro ability makes it a great lens for closeups and it does portaits really well too. I have yet to find a Pentax lens that captures color better than those old 35-70's

Nice series. I also have the F 35-70, it's one of my favorite walk around lens.

I like the tunnel shot, looks like the Fort McHenry tunnel in baltimore. Nice close-ups too, I got some of my favorite shots with an old a-35-70mm, I ought to use it more often

yes I agree! I was just actually looking for inexpensive lenses when I found this on ebay, and I am really happy with it. keeps me busy until I get a better lens

me too! unless I need wide angle, this is always on my camera
