They are odd looking aren't they? The sharpness of the peonies was pretty much the reason I posted this image. Have been struggling to get a sharp image from camera to forum. Gave up on AF and went manual. Much happier with the result.

Nice shot. A good Steven King Christmas card candidate. Kind of creepy in a well shot way.
