Five from last week
Posted By: SouthShoreRob, 07-08-2008, 05:49 PM

Had company from Ottawa area join us for the week so we were out and about quite a bit. Usually brought the K10D with me, but in spots, also used the back-up S3 IS. Here's a selection of some images that caught my eye - these are all from K10D with either the kit lens, the FA 50mm F1.4, or the FA* 200mm F2.8.

Thanks for looking,

Rob

Wow that owl shot is amazing! The dragonfly is good. I even like the seagulls which should be boring for me. Each one is good Rob. Lovely sky to go along with the skyscraper image too. Thank you for sharing!

Thanks everyone. Yes, it's a snow owl - I think. It's stuffed and on display at the local science museum. I actually shot it from both sides, but this angle seems to be the better of the two. Gotta love the FA 50mm 1.4 for shots just like these!

They are all good shots (nice dragonfly) but I'm taken with the train shot. Love the effect and how this one is rendered.

Nice series Rob - I like the train shot as well - the skly is little blown out I think - the owl's expression is priceless.

I like trains too, but what really hits me, is the last one, what an expression!
