Simple, but always beautiful.
Lens: nikon AF Nikkor 35~70mm Camera: Nikon D70 Photo Location: Sherwood, Oregon ISO: 200 Shutter Speed: 1/125s Aperture: F6.3

I like this shot a lot. I thought about adding a little sharpness, but would have to contend with noise. A little soft, but it still looks good. I hope everyone enjoys and thanks for looking.

By removing the noise first the shot would look sharper because the edges are more defined.

I tried that first using Windows Live Photo Gallery, however it caused the rose to look too soft. Perhaps I will give it another try and see what happens. Thanks, EM. Actually, I believe I just need to be more patient in getting the subject in proper focus, period.

It looks to me as if it were a matter of DOF instead. There is a small sector of petal edges that look quite sharp.
