Very cool. Mind my asking what ISO, f-stop, and shutter speed you used for the third shot?

Yes I tried to find that out but Flickr removes the exif data from shots.

These shots make me think even less of my want for a new lens (or three...) when he's getting shots like these with the 18-55 kit lens... Any advice to get a bit better with the gear I have would be a good thing.

That is not true. It needs to be allowed by the person but it is available, flickr does not strip the EXIF.

Thank you for that info, I was always told Flickr stripped the info.

You're welcome and whoever told you that, didn't use flickr much.

Thanks The settings were ISO1600, F4 and 1/5s
