freezing rain - glazed ice and frost
Lens: DA 20-40 Ltd Camera: k-3 Photo Location: neigbourhood park ISO: 400 Shutter Speed: 1/640s Aperture: F7.1

A few shots in the neighbourhood park after a brief freezing rain last week; almost everything is covered in glazed ice/frost. The RAW file size is already up to 36-37 MB for most shots. There is so much detail in many of these shots even if my k-3/DA20-40 combo; I can imagine what the file size be if I had a k-3II with pixel-shift on.

I like the first and last images best, both have an interesting composition with depth. Clear images and a good mix of textures. Well done, I hope you got warm!

I like the last two of the series. Looks uncomfortably cold so kudos to you for braving the weather to get the shots.

The last 2 are also my favorites! Second from last would be even more spectacular without the houses in the background; but still stunning! The last one makes the viewer feel that they could actually walk down that road, really nice!

Thanks to all for your valuable opinion/input, I had quite a few of those photos taken on that day, and among those, I like the first one the most. And obviously you all had very good points/suggestions about each of these photos; and I learned a lot from people like you, who have unselfishly offer your valuable opinions not only the technical points but more importantly the impact of photos on the viewers.
