We spotted this guy beside Hwy 127 on the way to shop.

What you lookin at?

Making a run for it.

2 hours later on the way home we stop again.

Is that you again?

Doing a little fishing.

Yum fresh fish...

Any more down there?

OK then, going to go play in the snow.

My den is just right over there... catch you later.

Those are great shots, #2 is truly a wall hanger... You sure nailed the exposures with the snow.

These pics are great. They show the capability of the lens in the right hands.

On a bright sunny day like this, there's no reason this lens shouldn't perform, as well as any other. Despite the bright sun, and the last 4 being shot with the TC, there was no fringing and no CA despite the extremely high contrast conditions. And the AF was snappy and crisp.

Enjoyed the pictures and the captions. What a fun little guy that mink is. The third one is my favorite.

When he was done fishing, he just went running across the flood plain, diving head first into the slow, sliding and kicking up snow, none of the pictures I took showed the activity, a movie would have been priceless. He put on quite the show.

Here he is down in the snow... kicking up snow..

Here he is is right after coming up for air.
