K-3 and DA*200 with the 1.4 and 1.7 TCs

A wild and windy day, the wind blew so hard I couldn't stabilize myself forget about stabilizing the camera.

The trees near the entrance were full of Redwinged Blackbirds

I went to the field first, across the road from the woods, bought as a buffer.
I don't know what this little guy was, he was so quick I had trouble getting an image of him at all.

I snapped a couple shots of these guys before joggers scared them off.

Chickadees are every where.

Over at the bluffs, Gulls were hovering in the breeze.

Altogether a cold blustery afternoon with poor light, but still better than sitting home.

It hopped out from under that grass for a half second, then hopped back in, I didn't have time to stabilize myself. But, I was just happy I got something. It easily could have been nothing.

Great shots. That looks like a Golden Crowned Kinglet, very small but bold birds. They should breed up there. I see them in Maine in the summer, and they pass through here. Had one in the front shrubs one spring.

Everyone seems to know this bird but me. But then, basically, if it doesn't come to my feeder, I don't know it.
