Easter in Venice
Camera: K5iis Photo Location: Venice
Posted By: jimmm18, 04-15-2016, 02:05 PM

Hi Pentaxians

I rarely if ever upload my pictures to be seen by others but these I really like and feel confident enough to share. My photography style is to have Lightroom rescue my photos so all have been processed.

It was Easter morning What a wonderful way to see Venice; We had the place to ourselves. Last pic is my wife and the best traveling companion I could ever have. Most, but not all, shot with my A28mm 2.8 lens. Others with the kit.

These are very nice. I have not seen Venice without the people before and you have captured the mood nicely. Good portrait of your wife too!.

Morning quietness is expressed in the photos really well. Looks like you did have the place to your selves indeed. You are truly lucky to have such a traveling companion.
I think they are wonderful pictures and please do share more on the forum

Great series, really like the lights in the street scene. I also rescue a lot of images in ACR or photoshop.

A side of Venice I haven't seen for myself, so thanks indeed for sharing these. I've often said that the light in Venice makes it special for the travelling photographer, and these tell me that it's so at times of the year different to the blue skies of the tourist seasons when I've been there. Nice photos, too!

Beautiful shots! The first one with the sun, mist and boat going away is a real eye grabber.

I like the fog/mist which makes the views totally different from what I saw years ago (see the other thread). Thanks for showing.
