Fun with the DA 15
Lens: DA 15 Limited Camera: Pentax K3 Photo Location: Paoli, Indiana ISO: 100 Shutter Speed: 1/250s Aperture: F8
Posted By: Rondec, 04-19-2016, 03:44 AM

These are a couple of shots at sunset taken at a barn around the corner from my home. Normally I would just post in the "DA 15" thread, but I really liked how the first one came out, in particular and thought I would share them here instead.

I did use the sensor shift to reduce the perspective distortion on the barn, as well.

Both are good, but I'm drawn the first one in perhaps a slightly uncomfortable way. I like it.

The tree on the first one seems to be rejoicing the dawn, and on the second one the plants in the foreground are just waking up. Both are beautiful but I get a little bit more happy feel on the second shot how the sun is reaching out to all the plants I admire the shots as always.

The first one is a stunner not that the second one isn't beautiful too.

Love the first one. Perfect positioning of the Sun, oh and that startburst...

Great shots! For me the second one would be my favourite just because the foreground is so nicely lit by the setting sun.

Thank you, it is definitely something the old DA 15 still shines at.
