This is my first gallery pic so sorry if I screw it up....

I am just getting back into photography and took this with my late *ist ds and 18-55 kit lens when I was in Victoria for my sister's triathlon a couple weeks ago.

I will admit know a lot more about photography now than I did then as I have been studying up after upgrading to a K100D with Sigma 17-70.

This was the view out of our hotel at about 10pm at night.

Anyhow, I thought this picture came out nice and I like it in both color and b/w. I know the color one is heavy on the blue, but I like it. What do you think?

Hi Zack, welcome to the forums. Victoria is my fav city in Canada eventho I haven't visited it in waaayyyyy too long. You caught the harbor nicely. I actually like the slightly blue cast to the color shot. IMHO it give it that "slightly past twilight" ambiance.
