Oak Tree
Lens: Pentax DA 35mm 2.4 Camera: KS-2 Photo Location: Thousand Oaks CA ISO: 800 Shutter Speed: 1/2000s Aperture: F11

A single Oak in Thousand Oaks. A hazy day around 5PM, 5 shots stitched together.

Where are the other 999 oaks? Very nice shot. Well done!

Like it a lot even with the haze. Have you thought about cropping some off the left to put the tree into the left third of the frame?

Thanks, - Not to easy to find them without houses, roads, barns, electric lines and other products of modern civilization in the picture and at my age I can't go hiking around the hills any longer. That's ok though as there is always something to take a picture of!

Thanks Susan. Your right, at least I would like to try - but - I'm restricted to a 3X1 crop ratio for a special project so not enough room on the right. I think I'll wait until I get an off-shore breeze (clear skies) and go out and reshoot. I'll take more than just the 35mm lens as I'm restricted as to camera position also.
