some Great Canadian Beaver pic's (I'm in trouble now)
Posted By: little laker, 07-13-2008, 12:00 AM

I ended up doing a sudden model shoot today, and I was suddenly asked to photograph the nicest beaver I've seen in years

I probably shouldn't say this, but I never got a model release form for these ones

shaking head..

My goodness, I leave for a bit and all the sudden Stu starts posting topless and beaver pics???? (rolling eyes and giggling)... lol.. Then Gary chimes in about a trio??? definately made me lol... But still rolling eyes and shaking head....

Anyway... One question about the pics?? Where they shot at night or is it just the flash that is making it look that way?

They are very nice and you may kick yourself for not getting the release signed.. lol...

Thanks for sharin.. Kim

This place just got so boring without you here Kim, so we had to do something.
Which makes it All Your Fault
(I'm running for cover now )

Your right, they were shot at night, and my camera was still set up for remote flash photography.
So I just held the flash with one hand, and the camera with the other.
The Autofocus worked for about 1/2 the pic's, and I had to set the flash down and manually focus the other 1/2. Which was tough with no real light.

Pretty risque stuff, Stu. Of course I suppose the beaver doesn't give a dam, assuming he can make one without a tail.

We're going to have to get you guys a seperate little forum. Geez, beavers, tail, trio's, topless and so on. The mod may have to put a lock on the door...

Pretty good shots Stu considering getting focus on these in the dark would have been tough.

I'll tell you Jer, I was worried about loosing my reputation as a family oriented photographer when I posted those topless pic's.
But now I'm hooked on the adrenaline rush, and hoping on more shots like this

that separate forum is a good idea, for all of us thinking with the wrong h.. (was I about to say that out loud)

Thanks Peter,
I have a flashlight with me 1/2 the time, just in case I see something interesting after dark.
But never when I need it. Typical human nature

Of coarse you do know it is against the law in Canadian to shave a Beaver! Of coarse you first have to catch one! JIM+Bo

You never see a beavers tail when it's swimming in the water...

It's sort of being used underwater as propeller and rudder
