Nature West of Eston

This was the least skittish of three bands of pronghorn antelope I encountered on today's drive. The first photo with all three in the frame is taken at 97.5mm, I pulled over to the side of the road, rolled down my window and started shooting (with my camera!).

Healthy looking pronghorns. They seem very curious.

One of the benefits of a mild winter. Grass is starting to grow in ditches and road allowances, which might be why they were standing so close to the road and didn't immediately run off once I stopped. They only moved away when another vehicle was approaching. Thanks for commenting!

Nice shots! The middle one is really beautiful! They are such beautiful animals, but as you said, very skittish, and very, very fast!
