Oooh man, all these car posts are killing me. I wish it would stop raining here long enough for some of the cars around here to get out.

All of these were shot with the K200D and Sigma 17-70mm.

Wonderful work! I love the corvette shots. 1959 made some good models. lol That is MY model year. The exposures are right on and everything looks great. Really nice work.

Up close and personal - that's the way I like to see shiny classic cars! Great job and thanks for sharing.

You questioned the Mercury for some reason. I think the connection is that James Dean drove a '49 Mercury in the movie 'A Rebel Without a Cause'. If it was that Mercury it would be significant for historical reasons.

That's some real good info. For some reason I didn't take note of the year the car was made, even though it was littered with signs. I won't be around the next couple of Fridays, but I'll be sure to ask about it car if I see it again.

Too funny. I say the same thing about the year I was born. I guess I'll have to find something from 1962 the next time around...
